Odyssey & Serendipity (also referred to as “O&S”) provides psychotherapy services. O&S does not collect user data from web visitors (“cookies”) or video meetings. Session notes are kept safe, private and confidential and for the therapist only, and only for therapeutic purpose.

2. Privacy Protection and Terms of Use

Privacy Protection Policy

We have designed this privacy protection policy because we care, just like you, about how the information we provide is used when we use websites.

First and foremost, your chat or video exchanges with your specialist are strictly confidential and are never recorded or stored. Working notes that may be taken from sessions, are kept by your specialist alone, and for therapeutic use only. Our therapists had to prove evidence of their training, and all formally committed in their employment contract, to respect this privacy protection policy with us.

You provide us with different types of information when you deal with us to be connected with the specialist of your choice:

Personal information: name, first name, date of birth, address, email.

This information will remain confidential, except if its disclosure is required by law. For confidentiality reasons, no Meetual client will be informed of the identity of other users of psychotherapy blocks provided by the company. Therefore, apart from Meetual, no one knows who uses the blocks nor how many have been used.

Generally, we only use this information in the context of managing our business. Emails are used to communicate with you, and we deliberately choose not to transmit them for reasons unrelated to the operation of our business. As part of an advertising campaign, we may transmit to our advertiser statistics related to visitors to our site. For example, the number of women and men, age groups, etc. Names and all information that precisely identifies users of our site are carefully removed during these advertising operations. Any identification is impossible.

Billing information: payment details, credit card number, billing address.

We do not keep or store this information it is only used for the purposes of our billing, and transmitted to our payment service providers. These payment service providers follow best in class cybersecurity protocols and are legally bound to use your personal information solely for payment. 

We will not to disclose, assign, sell, rent, market, give, or lend your email address or any other personal or professional information to third parties. On their part, as required by their accrediting bodies, our professionals commit to take reasonable means to protect and maintain the confidentiality of the data and information related to their clients.

3. Terms of use of the website

On its part, the user of O&S commits:

• not to knowingly spread viruses or other malicious code in digital interactions with O&S,
• not to use violent, vulgar or insulting language, particularly during group sessions where they may be invited to communicate their opinion or experience,
• not to publish pornographic content or expose nudity or any form of violence,
• not to provide false personal information,

We will remove any content or information that deviates from respectful use of our site.

If you experience a technical failure using our site, please contact our support team.

To conclude, it is important to remain aware that despite our effort to make our site as secure as possible, we are not responsible for illegal and criminal actions. We all take risks when browsing the Internet.

4. Refund and Rescheduling Policy

Refund Policy

Sessions must be booked at least 48h before. 

In the event you cannot make a session anymore, we will refund depending on the notice you can provide us, so we can reorganise another client session:

• 100% until 48h ahead
• 50% 48h-24h ahead
• 0% if less than 24h notice

Rescheduling Policy

You can reschedule without charges if you do so at least 48h ahead of time. To do so, simply email us at support@odysseyserendipity.com.
